MP visits Voluntary Action Leicestershire
Local MP Andrew Bridgen paid a visit to a voluntary organisation that acts to improve life in Leicestershire.
Voluntary Action Leicestershire is determined to make a real difference through involving local people as volunteers and supporting excellent community and voluntary activity.
Andrew said: “It was a pleasure to meet the staff and volunteers at Voluntary Action Leicestershire. I would encourage as many people in North West Leicestershire as possible to get involved.
“The staff at Voluntary Action can help with setting up a community group, funding advice, project planning and provide training and information. This organisation is a great example of trying to make our community a better place to live.”
Anyone wishing to volunteer, set up or run a community group, or wishing to influence public policy should get in touch with Voluntary Action Leicestershire.
