Andrew Bridgen has welcomed extra funding from the Government, providing a share of £2 billion this year and next for primary schools, secondary schools, and high needs pupils in North West Leicestershire.
The Midlands will receive 958 new doctors and 1,457 new nurses as part of the Government’s NHS recruitment efforts, which means there are now a record number of doctors, nurses, and staff working in the NHS in England.
North West Leicestershire is a semi rural constituency at the heart of the National Forest. It has three main towns which are Coalville, Ashby De La Zouch and Castle Donington, and they are surrounded by small towns and villages. It is made up of 20 District Council Wards and 8 County Council Wards. Famous landmarks within the constituency include East Midlands Airport, Donington Racetrack and Conkers Visitor Centre.
