Andrew Bridgen, MP for North West Leicestershire, has welcomed the launch of NCS Connect, a free resource that offers teens a bitesize digital version of the traditional NCS programme.
NCS Connect supports young people to remain informed, educated, entertained and engaged during the lonely and isolating periods of lockdown caused by COVID and beyond.
NCS Connect will also feature content from partners such as NSPCC, who NCS worked with for Safer Internet Day as well as Youth Employment UK who will be sharing their top tips for interviews.
Andrew Bridgen MP said:
“It has been a difficult year for teenagers who have faced disruption to their education as well being separated from their friends.
“It is great to see NCS working to support young people during these challenging times through these free resources. I would encourage teenagers in North West Leicestershire to access these free resources by visiting www.wearencs.com/connect”
